    We are recommending a Talent Solutions for our client's expanding Supply Chain department. Client is a leading manufacturer of the greater Quad Cities area. There's opportunity to join this team as a Purchasing Associate, Buyer, Supply Chain Analyst or a level between those. You will provide critical support to a busy and growing team. At a minimum, you will support administrative, supplier, quality, order tracking and international purchasing functions within the purchasing department and responsibilities will evolve based on your skills and strengths.

    Specific responsibilities can include:

    • Monitor company inventory and order new stock as necessary.

    • Perform vendor contact, create new order contracts, and ensure materials are received on time.

    • Manage shipments incoming and arrival tracking including data entry, order entry, and updates.

    • Process supplier rejects, gather required information, facilitate communication.

    • Provide support within purchasing department including updates to supplier information within networks and supporting mass distribution of supplier communications.

    • Manage change notice revision process.

    • Prepare corresponding reports and analysis as needed.

    Purchasing and Supply Chain talent with 1+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.     Expected strengths include:

    • Working proficiency with MS Office applications (specifically Excel, Outlook)

    • Ability to create, manipulate and analyze data in spreadsheets and other reports Ability to work within multiple networks and information databases to extract information

    • Ability to work in fast paced environment, managing changing priorities, and making decisions in uncertain situations

    • Good written and verbal communication skills

    • Work within cross functional teams with varied levels of education and experience levels
