    Job Description

    The Sales Technical Expert, IoT is responsible for our IoT offering via BODAS Connect. The STE will work to develop and deploy solutions for our market strategy BODAS Connect in coordination with the central organization and regional engineering team.

    The candidate will work with our new BODAS Connect customers to develop and support sales, acquire new business, as well as develop new sales channels and optimize sales processes.

    Part of the task will be to track and report on the specific IoT sales activities to management and coordinate/align the market needs with the regional and central development teams.

    The position requires expert knowledge and extensive experience working with and selling distributed cloud applications and systems with cloud services such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Microsoft Cloud (Azure), Cisco Cloud, etc. as well as, hardware solutions that enable them.

    Strong sales skills are required to create solutions and sell our products in the short-term, mid-term and long-term time horizon.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degree in a science or technical field such as engineering, software development, or computer science

    · Minimum 2-year experience in sales or product management in the field of IoT/telematics (B2B) and/or SW

    · Strong background and understanding of the IoT environment to include commercial IoT platforms and technologies

    · Basic knowledge of the application of electronic control systems in the field of mobile work machines, in the automotive or industrial environment (i.e. CAN) and mechatronics

    · Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on implementation and fast learning

    · Customer orientation, strong communication skills and a high level of commitment as well as the ability to work in a team

    · Excellent ability to work in a cross-site and cross-functional team in an interdisciplinary team
