Welder/Fitter

Welder Experience Level:

Intermediate Level - 1-2 years experience

Available Schedules:

Monday - Friday: 2:00pm - 12:30am

Sunday - Thursday: 7:30pm - 6:00am

**** Must be flexibile to work overtime ****

Job Description: Welder will be working within a small, family owned company. They must possess previous structural steel welding experience as well as fabrication.

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints

• Lay out and fit all parts and components prior to tacking them together to be welded

• Running solid wire or flux/metal core wire on metals including mild steel, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized steel

• Grind and polish welds after they were finished to help clean and detail the part prior to it moving to inspection

• Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, hoists and sit down forklifts to move parts

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have structural steel welding experience.
