    SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Web Services Operations Manager to provide support for web-server hardware and software in support of our customer. The Web Services Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of our web services infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex web environments. The manager will oversee a team of web developers that troubleshoot web application issues including error messages, user data entry issues, user navigation, data discrepancies, and known and unknown error messages which includes future enhancements and releases. Developers will communicate to a broad user base in a non-technical manner to execute resolution procedures for issues encountered while interfacing with various websites, as well as information related to self-help and general questions on the data found within the web service. Troubleshooting shall include DS Logon issues, questions related to FAQs or data in portlets and DS Logon accessible websites.

    Essential Job Duties

    • Oversee the day-to-day operation of our web services infrastructure, ensuring uptime, reliability, and performance meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).

    • Lead a team of web operations engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and IT, to deploy new web services and applications and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

    • Develop and implement operational processes and procedures to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and minimize downtime.

    • Monitor and analyze web services performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize performance and scalability.

    • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, including data protection and access control measures.

    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in web services and operations management.

    • Provide management and guidance to a team of technicians who install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade Web-server hardware and software.

    • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.

    • Control and monitor e-mail use, Web navigation, and installed software

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in web operations management or a similar role.

    • Bachelor's Degree with at least 5+ years' experience in web development.

    • In-scope DoD Secret clearance

    • 3 years' experience in a role that demonstrates experience and knowledge in DoD benefits and personnel data processes.

    • Strong technical background with experience in web server administration, cloud computing, and web application deployment.

    • Proficiency in web technologies such as HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, and load balancing.

    • Experience with web server platforms.

    • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and objectives.

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills, and conflict resolution skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Must meet DoDi 8140.03 IT Certification requirements.

    • Certification in web development.
