    Mon-Thurs together in beautiful offices, Fri remote optional. Time in/out very flexible too.

    $150-$200k + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

    Our client believes in a systems-based and holistic approach to responsibly grow capital through our investment framework that considers five areas of focus. They have nearly $2B AUM and are looking for a Valuations and Reporting Manager to join the team.

    The Role

    The Valuation and Reporting Manager is a key member of the Finance Team responsible for processing, analyzing, and presenting investment reporting and valuations for an investment portfolio across a diverse group of asset classes including private equity, real estate, agriculture, forestlands, and other holdings. You will work as part of a small team to calculate and communicate performance over the entire investment lifecycle and manage portfolio data to support ongoing decision-making. We seek an individual with strong financial and analytical skills, knowledge of valuation methodologies, and relevant industry experience.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Prepare periodic reporting regarding portfolio performance, liquidity, investment activity, and other metrics.

    • Lead the valuation process with support and oversight by the Director of Finance.

    • On at least an annual basis, prepare and/or support the presentation of financial valuations in investment tear sheets.

    • Understand valuation and performance drivers for a diverse investment portfolio.

    • Identify and recommend improvements to valuation and reporting processes.

    • Maintain accurate investment activity and attribute information in the system of record (Addepar).

    • Assist with the preparation of advisory fee billings, capital calls, distributions, and quarterly investor reporting.

    • Work with investment teams to forecast and communicate portfolio cash flows.

    • Create new risk or performance analyses in partnership with internal stakeholders.

    • Execute other projects as assigned. (ex. Fund or entity financial reporting; audit planning and support, etc.)

    Requirements

    Keys

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, engineering, or equivalent with strong academic qualifications and 7+ years of relevant experience.

    • Advanced degree with a focus on finance or economics, or a finance-related professional designation or certificate (e.g. CFA, CAIA, CPA), is preferred.

    • Proficiency in valuation methodologies (especially DCF, COE, EBITDA Multiple, and Revenue Multiple) and financial modeling for alternative investments.

    • Experience leading projects and communicating/presenting results to senior management.

    • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    • Experience with Addepar or another portfolio management software preferred.

    • Attention to detail and thoroughness in all aspects of the role.

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet overlapping deadlines.
