Systems Engineer

Description You might be the Systems Engineer that Robert Half is seeking for a job opportunity with a local client in the Financial Services industry! Our Systems Engineer hire needs to become a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's network and wireless infrastructure. Submit an application today! Key responsibilities

• Inscribe and uphold custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

• Produce 2nd and 3rd level support

• Work together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

• Be involved the design of information and operational support systems

• Preside over and regulate all installed systems and infrastructure

• Vigorously deliver the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

• Track an assay application performance for potential bottlenecks, determine possible solutions, and collaborate with developers to achieve those fixes

• Configure, test, install, and maintain application software, operating systems, and system management tools

• Sustain backup, redundancy strategies, and security Requirements - We are particularly looking for candidates with proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems

• Comprehensive knowledge of Linux

• Ansible experience

• Expertise in Python

  • If you have solid networking knowledge, you will be strongly preferred for this position

  • It is preferred for applicants to have experience with automation software
