  • The Systems Administrator II performs work in the administration of PC, Server, printer, and telecommunications systems at the Anderson-Negele, Spartanburg, SC location in a manufacturing capacity. This position will also provide remote support to other business associates as required and requested regardless of location.

    Key Responsibilities User/Client Support:

    • Install, maintain and troubleshoot existing client PC & peripherals hardware & software & operating systems throughout the company's network

    • Assist user personnel in identifying causes and solutions of apparent computer related questions and errors.

    • Act as front line for security remediations.

    • Support internal customers with technical assistance, basic network connectivity, equipment diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software.

    • Support remote users with technical assistance, remote access connectivity, equipment diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software.

    • Provide User onboarding and training.

    • Support and Maintain Printers and Faxes to include but not limited to Zerba label printer, MFD print devices.

    • Experience carrying out IT support tasks in a manufacturing environment.

    Server Systems Support:

    • Maintain user account information including rights, security, and systems groups within a windows domain environment.

    • Coordinate installation of server infrastructure from acquisition to deployment including storage devices (ie NAS/SAN type devices).

    • Maintain server based software by installing new software releases, system upgrades and patches, and resolution of software related problems.

    • Running daily and weekly backup procedures using common methodologies and applications for manufacturing environment.

    Network infrastructure Support

    • Coordinate installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of network cabling & phone lines for client & server systems and maintain network infrastructure integrity.

    • Upgrades to network hardware as required.

    • Keep current on system administration techniques and procedures.

    • All other duties as assigned.

    Technical Administrative Tasks

    • Provide valuable IT input to departmental process and functions.

    • Roll out and monitor corporate policies relating to the use of computer hardware and services and software.

    • Maintain system documentation for software and hardware reference.

    • Procurement of hardware, software, licenses, and computer services through designated accounts.

    Miscellaneous Requirements

    • 25% travel within the US will be required.

    • 5 years' experience as System Administrator

    • AAS degree in IT / Computer science / Desktop support. Will consider years of experience in lieu of degree.
