    Job Description:

    SAS1 Government Compliance is seeking a Senior Specialist that will be responsible for a wide variety of detailed financial analysis, audit support/lead, and other special projects within the Government Compliance organization. This position will interface with local and segment level functions including but not limited to: Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Planning, Accounting, Compliance POCs, and external government customers.

    Essential Functions:

    • Support the preparation of the annual Final Incurred Cost Proposal

    • Support various government audits and reviews with DCAA/DCMA or other government regulatory agencies. This may include but not limited to audits related to: Final Incurred Cost Proposals, Forward Pricing Rate Proposals, Cost Accounting Standards, Business Systems, and Mandatory Annual Audit Requirements (i.e. MAAR 6 & MAAR 13)

    • Assist with ad hoc requests/analysis and special projects regarding compliance issues as needed

    • Create and maintain documentation related to audit procedures

    • Prepare and provide compliance-related training, as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of six (6) years of experience; including 3+ years of experience within the area of compliance, program finance, accounting, or financial planning in the aerospace/government contracting environment.

    • 3+ Years experience interpreting and applying FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)

    • 3+ Years experience with Microsoft office (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    • Excellent analytical skills. Attention to detail with the ability to effectively summarize analyses, where appropriate.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Able to work independently and within a team
