    The Account Manager - Genomic Medicine position for Cytiva is responsible for: Drive overall customer success aligned to the Cytiva strategy and goals leveraging all of the Cytiva account team. Share ownership of customer relationship across Bioprocessing and Genomic Medicine products. A key contact between the company and customers and grows the business through an understanding of the market, an awareness and familiarity with the needs of customer, and knowledge of the product portfolio. Accountable for overall account success, and growth, leveraging Cytiva customer account team and to drive overall design-in account strategies, aligned with Sales Specialists on technical Design in projects.

    This position is part of the Genomic Medicine division. Territory is based in the Philadelphia metro area. 10% air travel required, car travel will be <75%.

    What you will do:

    • Represent Cytiva and function as a key customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory for both Bioprocessing and Genomic Medicine customer segments.

    • Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers' expectations.

    • Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales and order at expected margins.

    • Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account. Includes prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization.

    • Negotiate master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tender responses to customers from the account, in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.

    • 3 years of commercial sales experience in Biotechnology or Life Sciences industry.

    • Familiarity with bioprocessing and genomic medicine products. Significant experience with sales techniques including cross selling, upselling, value positions and funnel management. Business market knowledge and ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to include contracts, MSA's as well as working with finance and other business partners.

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

    • QlikSense or Salesforce

    • Ability to travel within territory - greater Philadelphia PA

    The base salary range for this role is $90,000-$130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

    This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
