    Radiology Tech II - Diagnostic Radiology

    We are seeking a motivated and skilled Radiology Tech II to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. As a Radiology Tech I I you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team by operating radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging services for our patients.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.

    • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.

    • Position patients and equipment to obtain the best possible images.

    • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in accordance with safety protocols.

    • Assist radiologists and physicians in interpreting images.

    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

    Qualifications

    • More than six (6) months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist

    • Current certification of The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT ARRT)

    • Current Certified Radiology Technologist certification (CT CRT)

    • Current Fluoroscopy permit (CT RTTF)

    • Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)

    • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

    Special Skills:

    • Must meet Tech II minimum expectations on performance evaluation.

    • Must have working knowledge of all diagnostic imaging equipment.

    • Must also know all departmental protocols and procedures.

    • Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians and the patient population.

    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

    • Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment.

    This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

    Pay Range

    $45.23 - $53.37 /hour
