    Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Program Manager at a corporate partner's facility in Cincinnati, OH. The primary function of this role is to oversee and manage the entire program related to the creation, update, and maintenance of technical documentation and graphical content for aircraft operation, maintenance, and repair procedures. The successful candidate will have a strong background in program management, with experience in aircraft maintenance and technical documentation.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Oversee and manage the entire program, including technical writing, flight manual writing, graphics illustration, and quality assurance teams.

    • Develop and implement program strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

    • Coordinate and manage resources, including personnel and budget, to ensure program objectives are met on time and within budget.

    • Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.

    • Ensure all program activities comply with industry standards and regulations, including FAA Regulations, ICAO Standards, OEM Specifications, and Military Standards and Specifications.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineers, pilots, mechanics, and quality assurance teams, to gather necessary information for program planning and execution.

    • Conduct regular program reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with changes in equipment, procedures, and regulations.

    • Coordinate with training teams to ensure the quality of training materials based on program outputs.

    • Maintain a comprehensive library of program documentation, including plans, reports, and quality assurance standards.

    Basic Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

    • Must be a US citizen

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management or related fields. Will consider 6 years with Bachelor's Degree.

    • Experience with aircraft maintenance, including familiarity with maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.

    • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including FAA Regulations, ICAO Standards, OEM Specifications, and Military Standards and Specifications.

    • Strong knowledge of program management principles and practices, including planning, resource management, and risk management.

    • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly program plans and reports.

    • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

    • Experience in managing programs for technical manuals, flight manuals, or related technical documentation, with knowledge of S1000D principles and guidelines.

    • Experience in technical writing or related field, with the ability to review and critique technical documentation for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with standards.

    • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

    • Excellent knowledge and demonstrated work experience using program management software and tools.

    Working Conditions:

    • This position may require occasional travel to various flight facilities for on-site observation and data collection. The Program Manager may also need to work in a hangar or cockpit environment on occasion to gain hands-on experience with the aircraft systems they are managing.
