    We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator who must have Day Force (Ceridian) experience for our client, located in Orlando, Florida. The primary function of this role is to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing and administration. This includes handling new hire documentation, compensation changes, terminations, and other payroll-related tasks. The successful candidate will possess proficiency in Ceridian, Microsoft Excel, and Dayforce.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the completion of onboarding tasks for team members, ensuring all necessary documentation for payroll processing is received.

    • Accurately input data for new hires, compensation changes, manager updates, and terminations.

    • Conduct regular audits of payroll files to verify the accuracy of data entry.

    • Manage terminations within the payroll system and add payroll reporting notes as required.

    • Communicate with managers and team members regarding discrepancies in timesheets and advise the payroll team of necessary corrections and adjustments.

    • Address payroll inquiries and issues from team members and managers as they arise.

    • Provide payroll-related training to team members and managers as needed.

    • Prepare and distribute regular reports to division personnel (e.g., overtime reports) and resolve any issues arising from these reports.

    • Administer US payroll, coordinate meetings with outsourced payroll team to discuss various changes and circumstances to ensure correct payment processing.

    • Review all payroll reports, unpaid time off requests, and unauthorized hours reports for each payroll week.

    • Respond to employment verifications and unemployment filings based on system data.

    • Handle changes, additions, and terminations of retirement contribution plans, and review audit reports for accuracy.

    • Process benefits changes and terminations received from the benefits department in the appropriate pay period.

    • Coordinate changes to qualifying life event benefit deductions with the payroll team.

    • Manage the processing of all Tuition Reimbursement, EHOP, referral, and sign-up bonuses.

    • Conduct regular audits for all active term team members, salary changes, and promotions to ensure correct department and job code allocation.

    • Forward all VOEs, garnishments, and unemployment requests to HR Manager and enter into the system.

    • Be willing to learn and spend time on HRIS, reporting, and system issues.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator

    • Proficiency in Ceridian Day Force is required

    • Experience with Dayforce software is essential

    • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, and best practices

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various departments

    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information

    • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills

    • Experience with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
