Maintenance Technician

Description:

• Responsible for repairing and preserving a particular facility, including its equipment and systems.

• Regularly inspects the building and its assets and maintains inventory

• Helps to develop preventive maintenance procedures.

• Troubleshoots various mechanical and electrical problems involving appliances, electrical lines, switches, controls, sensors, and related equipment using a variety of materials, tools, supplies, and equipment.

• Performs general maintenance duties inside and outside of facilities; install and repair masonry including concrete, brick, stucco, plaster, and tile; performs maintenance painting including application of paints, varnishes, and lacquers.

• Programs, troubleshoots and repairs systems related to building automation including temperature, lighting, alarms, shades, and exhaust fans.
