    Salary: $81,120-105,000

    Level: Mid to Junior

    P2S has an excellent opportunity for a talented electrical engineer to support our healthcare studio in our Long Beach office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience designing Electrical systems for new and existing buildings.

    General Responsibilities

    Pre-Design Engineering

    • Review existing as-built drawings.

    • Perform field investigations.

    • Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines.

    • Collaborate with team members regarding design coordination, schedules, and deliverables.

    • Perform feasibility studies.

    • Prepare schematic designs.

    Design Engineering

    • Perform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE.

    • Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules.

    • Design lighting selection and controls.

    • Design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.

    • Perform Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies.

    • Experience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) systems a plus

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Field

    • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification is a plus

    • LEED Accreditation a plus

    Working Knowledge

    • Microsoft Office Suite

    • AutoCAD

    • Revit

    • California Building Code

    • National Electrical Code

    • OSHPD experience is a plus

    • Net Zero Energy/Carbon experience a plus
