    EEG Technicians may be eligible for a relocation bonus up to $8,000.

    As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech), you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests at Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs. Your primary duties will involve:

    • Applying electrodes in accordance with ACNS guidelines.

    • Perform prescribed testing.

    • Review patient history and educate patients about the EEG procedure.

    • Monitor and document patients' conditions, and promptly respond to any reports and adverse reactions.

    • Edit and forward results to attending physicians for analysis and interpretation.

    As an EEG Tech on our team, your weekly schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm, with call rotation required.

    Qualifications

    In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified Neurodiagnostic Techs (EEG Technicians) will need the following:

    Required

    • High School Diploma or GED.

    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.

    • Successful completion of EEG registry within 2 years of hire date.

    • Physical Requirements: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).

    Highly Preferred

    • Previous work experience in providing direct patient care in outpatient or inpatient settings.

    • Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR).

    • Associates Degree.
