    Opportunity

    The Content and Organic Social Media Strategist plans, creates and coordinates communications to support Kohler Home Energy in achieving its business goals and implementing the brand's strategies through engaging consumer content and social media.

    This position is responsible for assisting in development and execution of a comprehensive content marketing strategy to drive customer engagement, nurturing, conversion and loyalty for Kohler Home Energy business.

    The Content and Organic Social Media Strategist is also directly responsible for developing, creating and activating short and long-term social media strategy--including content development, execution, social experiences (on and offline), measurement, reporting and optimization. Align all social media campaign ideas to deliver upon business objectives that are integrated and align with brand messaging platform as well as paid social activity.

    Specific Responsibilities

    Content Strategy and Execution

    • Assist in development and execution of a comprehensive content marketing strategy to drive customer engagement, nurturing, conversion, and loyalty for Kohler Home Energy business

    • Maintain Customer Journey Touchpoint Map and develop personalized content to optimize every step of the journey

    • Collaborate with marketing research, data analytics and ad agency to understand precise audience targets, ensure that we have relevant content for those most likely to convert and create and distribute high-quality, engaging content that resonates with the key target audiences

    • Work closely with Search Engine Optimization agency to align content development and placement for optimum SEO ranking and authority

    • Work closely with product managers to communicate competitive advantages, develop creative demonstration of advantages, and support organic portion of product launch campaigns.

    • Utilize Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics and a Customer Data Hub to execute personalized and optimized nurturing campaigns that engage the consumer with meaningful content designed to lead to conversion.

    • Update website content via content management system

    • Serve as content calendar owner and coordinator

    • Collaborate with the Direct Marketing, Lead Management, Customer Service, Dealer, Builder, Etail/Retail, Wholesale Channel and other cross-functional departments to coordinate content across all Home Energy platforms

    • Partner with data scientist to establish, report and take action on data analytics to track results and drive continuous improvement

    • Collaborate with internal team members, external agencies and vendors to support digital marketing initiatives when necessary.

    • Stay up to date with inside- and outside-the-industry trends and competitors, to ensure that our content strategy and execution is superior and leads in innovation

    • Create and maintain competitive intelligence files to inform content strategies and serve as a resource for other team members

    Organic Social Strategy and Execution

    • Develop and create short and long-term social media strategy-including content development, execution, social experiences (on and offline), measurement and reporting. Align all social media campaign ideas to deliver upon business objectives that are integrated and align with brand messaging platform as well as paid social activity.

    • Provide hands-on posting and execution of organic social strategy & social community management across blog, web content, and all social platforms including Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram (new platform launch for Home Energy)

    • Oversee the response and routing of social media comments in a timely manner, working closely with Customer Service, Lead Management and Sales. Based on the feedback, provide insights into future programs that would address the greatest needs for the business.

    • Engage and build social audiences across multiple channels.

    • Monitor and report on social media channels identifying emerging trends and providing insights about the drivers of performance to optimize content strategies.

    • Provide monthly content debriefs to Advertising and Marketing to improve future advertising creative.

    • Work with the creative agency to outline deliverables needed for social media organic and promoted posts.

    • Provide real-time trade show and major events social media coverage if applicable.Coordinate with production and creatives to develop shot list and film social content on-site.

    • Coordinate with influencer marketing initiatives to drive engagement and amplification of influencer messaging.

    • Remain current with the social media landscape and technologies to seek out new opportunities for Kohler Energy.

    • Have a passion and commitment for social media and optimization of the consumer journey

    Skills/Requirements

    • Four-year degree required. Emphasis in New Media, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Business or English preferred.

    • Minimum 3 years of social media experience required.

    • Strong writing skills a must.

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, required.

    • Familiarity with Social Media platforms such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch or Hootsuite.

    • Working knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)

    • Experience utilizing Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Adobe Target and a Customer Data Hub to execute personalized and optimized nurturing campaigns that engage the consumer with meaningful content designed to lead to conversion.

    • Experience with Meta Business Manager is required.

    • Detail-oriented and possess excellent project management skills.

    • Motivated by continuing education (seminars, classes, online learning, podcasts, etc.).

    • Embrace the role of a teacher to educate Marketing and Lead Management staff.

    The salary range for this position is $56,900 - $71,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
