CNC Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Defines, analyzes and applies techniques involving the entire scope of the manufacturing engineering function. Defines, analyzes and solves problems across the entire spectrum of the manufacturing process.

Responsible for the manufacturing processes including development of total integrated manufacturing systems.

Prepares and coordinates entire manufacturing engineering plans for introduction of a product into production.

Provides technical/engineering advice to other manufacturing personnel.

Skills and Requirements

Education

BS degree in engineering required.

MS degree desired.

Experience

Six years required at BS level OR four years required at MS level of progressive experience in concurrent engineering and/or manufacturing.

Experience should include basic manufacturing planning, understanding of military specifications and certifications, raw material selection engineering change process, design modification, use of CASD/CAM systems and manufacturing process development

Two years of experience in aviation desired. null
