The position oversees and coordinates technical solutions to build sustainable improvements through multiple projects as defined by the needs of the Country Group/Global Enterprise.This position shall collaborate closely with the Country Group PIM's/ Area Directors to identify priorities, plan and effectively execute. The position should have an active leadership role on all aspects of technical decisions. The position is responsible for maintaining a solid relationship with the Global Manufacturing Excellence Network in order to create a multiregional collaboration space as the base to find the solution of complex issues.Principle AccountabilitesManage and develop a team of Subject Matter Leaders in order to develop best practices and disseminate throughout Country Group plants+ Create learning organizations in the plants through the Subject Matter Leaders+ Build capability throughout the plants+ Define the annual strategy for the technical development in the Country Group+ Define the goals of the Manufacturing Excellence team aligned with the Country Groups priorities and direction+ Plan the resources and activities to assure the successful commissioning, Start-up, Ramp-up of plant/engineering projects and the transfer of knowledge to the local team+ Plan the resources and activities to assure the successful implementation of the Global Manufacturing and capability Program, aligning the needs of the plants+ Manage all related projects related to the deployment of Manufacturing Fundamentals, including cost, resource management, scheduling, tracking, and adherence to manufacturing standards to drive performance+ Plan the resources for the successful implementation of the Technical Assistance Program in a multidisciplinary approach, assuring the building capabilities in the plants+ Define the succession planning program inside the Country Group team assuring all the Human Resources are available with the necessary knowledge and experience+ Define and approve the budget for the Country Group team+ Leader of technical discussions in the Country Group+ Technical Leadership with manufacturing/ capability projects as defined by the plant and or Country Group+ Ongoing oversight and implementation of the Subject Matter leaders development plans of the Country Group team+ Assist in developing subject matter training literature, lesson plans, and training matrix to ensure training material is current+ Provide technical support to facilities when neededScope and ImpactThe Manufacturing Excellence Leader will oversee the efforts of the Country Group Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Plant Subject Matter Knowledgeable (SMKs) to asses gaps measured against best-in-class plant structures, organizations and technical solutions.
