    The Fast Track Program is CMA CGM America's premiere college graduate, accelerated development. While earning a full competitive salary, Fast Track Program Trainees in this 18-month rotational program will participate in an intensive training program that will provide the working experience and training needed to advance to higher level roles, gaining knowledge and training that typically takes at least three years. At the end of the 18-month training program, trainees will be placed in a position with CMA CGM America suitable for their competencies and skill sets including potential for an international assignment.


    For a greater understanding of our organization and how different functions interrelate, trainees rotate through departments performing real work with the team. This cross-functional approach establishes a holistic understanding of our business. Training will be provided through instructor-led classes and on-the-job instruction. Knowledge acquired each week will then be applied in practical, hand-on assignments. Trainees continue developing business acumen through group work, online courses, training workshops, individual study and coaching. Each Fast Track Trainee will be assigned a senior manager mentor for career and personal development.

    • Start with a two-week orientation/onboarding to build a strong foundation and prepare for a smooth transition to begin rotations through the various functional areas of our business.

    • Months one through twelve, rotations are conducted in the following areas of the business:

    • Customer Care - Export and Import Services

    • Operations - Intermodal, Equipment and Procurement

    • Legal

    • Cargo Claims and Risk Management, Hazardous Cargo

    • Commercial

    • Inside Sales, Marketing, Contract Administration and Compliance, Bids and Custom Contracts

    • Trade

    • Analyst, Bids and Tenders, Strategic NVOCC, Refrigerated Cargo and Cargo Flow

    • Months 12-18 will be for job skills specialization through a specific job assignment

    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

    • Experience through an internship is a plus

    • Global mobility for possible international placement


    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business-related field

    • Strong academic performance - overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

    • Must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without sponsorship or VISA

    • Candidate must be willing to relocate to participate in the program and again at the completion of the program
