    Job Summary

    AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Architectural Designer for employment in the Hunt Valley office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. You will gain experience in your discipline through learning on the job and participate in development opportunities during the program, including access to AECOM's social media resources, group mentoring, and professional networking.     The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.

    • Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.

    • Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.

    • Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.

    • Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.

    • May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.

    • May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

    • 0-2 years experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Entry level proficiency with BIM-Revit and AutoCAD

    • Entry level proficiency in the use of computers for making architectural drawings, calculations and 3-D visual simulations. Experience with Rhino a plus but not a requirement

    • Sustainability, resiliency and/or climate adaptation experience a plus but not a requirement
